Top draft prospect Billy Price expected to be ready for training camp following surgery

One of the most disappointing things that happened at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine is that Ohio State center Billy Price suffered a torn pectoral muscle during the bench press. The injury required surgery. But the good news is that ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports it was successful and that Price should be ready for training camp this summer.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound prospect can play either guard or center, and he was a three-year starter for the Buckeyes, putting up plenty of outstanding tape.

Before his injury, Price was considered to be a potential first-round pick and one of the best offensive linemen in the upcoming NFL draft. It’s going to be interesting to see how much this injury impacts Price’s draft stock, especially now that he’s expected to be ready for camp.
