When Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen came into the NFL, he knew a lot of attention would come with being a starting quarterback at the highest level. In fact, one of his favorite moments came at Yankee Stadium.

In an interview with The Athletic’s Tim Graham, Allen talked about his first year in the NFL and what life is like for him in his second season. He also shared a gratifying moment that happened when New York Yankees fans booed him.

“I went to a Yankees game last month, and they put me on the Jumbotron at Yankee Stadium, which was really, really cool,” Allen said, via The Athletic. “I got booed because they’re Jets fans, but that, to me, was so gratifying. I thought, “Yeah, they don’t like me around here. I’m into that.” That was fun.

Allen is clearly handling the added attention and even some hate that comes with playing at the highest level and dealing with rival fans in stride.

While he didn’t have an exceptional rookie season, a second-year jump along with the additions made by Buffalo’s front office should put Allen in a great position to succeed this season. If he can help take this team a step forward, Bills fan will be showering him with love and rival fans will have to boo his success even more.
