Bills’ Harrison Phillips visits children’s hospital days after ACL injury

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Harrison Phillips was not about to let the torn ACL he suffered during Sunday’s game impact plans he had on Tuesday.

Still not in the recovery process stemming from the serious injury, the second-year player was seen hanging out at a local children’s hospital.

That’s about the classiest thing we’ve seen from an NFL player this season. Phillips did not mourn over his injury. He didn’t even take a full day to process the torn ACL diagnosis.

Instead, the Stanford product was out here knowing full well that others are worse off than him and helping them cope.

Kudos to Phillips and his big heart.
