During their heydays, Bill Belichick and Peyton Manning went toe-to-toe 15 times during the regular season and five more times in the playoffs. Manning went 5-10 during the regular season and 3-2 in the playoffs.

It’s safe to say the two football legends have had more than their fair share of battles during their football careers. That’s not even counting the battles Eli Manning had with Coach Belichick. Eli beat Belichick’s Patriots in the Super Bowl twice, including ruining New England’s quest for a perfect season in 2008.

Needless to say, this group of football legends has a lot of respect for one another, and now the trio could soon become co-workers.

Bill Belichick’s set to have a lot more time on his hands during the 2024 NFL year, and it’s hard to imagine the future Hall of Famer sitting idly while the football season rages on. His chances of getting an NFL head coaching job are gone at least this season. The same goes for becoming a defensive coordinator, as there are no more remaining vacancies.

However, that doesn’t mean Belichick won’t still be involved with football in some capacity.

According to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, Peyton Manning is making an effort to hire Belichick at Omaha Productions. The sports network works closely with ESPN, including for ManningCast, which serves as an alternate broadcast on Monday Night Football, involving Peyton and Eli Manning providing their analysis during live action.

It’s not known what type of role Belichick would hold at Omaha Productions, but seeing him from time to time on the ManningCast could be a great way for the future Hall of Fame coach to share his legendary football knowledge with fans too.

However, Omaha Productions is far from the only company pursuing Belichick this offseason. He has also individually met with CBS and NBC, both of whom are reportedly considering adding a fresh analyst to their coverage. Yet, ESPN is also interested in Belichick too.
