Allen Iverson was expected to be in Dallas on Sunday for his Week 6 game with the BIG3, but he was absent. The league released a statement, saying that it’s looking into to reasons for the absence of the 3’s Company player/coach.

Certainly, any unexpected absence is noteworthy. Iverson’s absence is even more so, as he’s one of the league’s biggest names and someone that people come out to see.
The hope here is obviously that this is something that can be easily explained away. Iverson had a number of off-court issues through his NBA career, so an unexpected and unexplained absence will be, at least, worrisome until more facts are revealed.
