One over-confident bettor laid $11,000 on a ridiculous wager ahead of the game between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday.
The person who bet the $11,000 wagered the large amount that the Bucks would win the first quarter against the Nets. Instead, the Nets won that quarter, 40-34, along with the game itself.
Now here comes the absurd aspect of that bet: If the Nets had won that first quarter, the bettor would have paid out just $1,834.
All we can hope for at this point is that the person who laid the wager had the cash to blow.
