Blood, sweat and literal tears were shed after the Denver Broncos and their top-ranked defense defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday evening.
Cool and confident during the pregame, Cam Newton and Co. stunk it up on offense while the Broncos forced multiple turnovers. Meanwhile, Peyton Manning and the Denver offense were efficient enough to make the Panthers play from behind the entire game.
Thus, in the aftermath following the big game, the social media world is practically breaking the internet.
Peyton Manning the G.O.A.T.?
Manning didn’t exactly turn heads in his Super Bowl performance. Nevertheless, he did just enough in the eyes of singer, actor, and fan Justin Timberlake to earn “greatest of all time” honors.
JT’s tweet, of course, drew responses from many who would beg to differ that Tom Brady is indeed the G.O.A.T. even over Joe Montana.
Couldn't be happier for you bro!!! You did it!!! You are the GOAT.

JT’s tweet, of course, drew responses from many who would beg to differ that Tom Brady is indeed the G.O.A.T. even over Joe Montana, but Manning is certainly in the conversation.
Josh Norman’s emotions spark hilarious meme
As the final seconds ticked off the clock, Panthers cornerback Josh Norman was spotted on the sidelines sobbing. Due to some clever computer handiwork, none other than nemesis Odell Beckham Jr. was on-hand to lend a virtual tissue.
This fancy one-handed catch by OBJ helped remind fans of the not-so-long-ago on-field battle between the duo that resulted in a suspension for Beckham and fine for Norman.
It looks like OBJ has Norman’s back this time around.
Brilliant! 😂😂 #SuperBowl #JoshNorman pic.twitter.com/RtNw4Ur5Ug

Lady Gaga stuns in national anthem, unwinds in bathtub
After completely nailing the national anthem dressed in patriotic red, white and blue, Lady Gaga took a moment to unwind. She posted several photos to her Instagram that included a blurred-out image while she sat in her bathtub. The caption read:
“SB50 hangover BathTime then INTERVIEWS.”
Cam Newton attitude ignites poll
“Unhappy” would be an understatement when describing what Cam Newton’s mood was like when he addressed the press.
Using mostly a monotone voice and giving one or two word responses, Newton eventually bailed on his interview following a couple awkward minutes in front of the cameras.
Newton’s behavior led to this poll that shows more people believe the quarterback should have manned up at his presser despite taking repetitive questions and overhearing disparaging comments from Denver cornerback Chris Harris.

Aqib Talib makes smashing entrance
While Newton hid under his hoodie, Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was proud to be going viral.
This is all thanks to his classic and clutzy entrance to the NFL Network stage. Talib ate it big-time right as he jumped up for his interview. Now his fall — instead of any Newton dabbing — is the viral video out in the Vine world.

Russell Wilson is a class-act inside and out
He didn’t make it to the Super Bowl this year, but Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson paid the ultimate compliment to a legendary NFL veteran in Manning.
Love the message from Russell Wilson to Peyton Manning. pic.twitter.com/yd1HcLelQU

Wilson has many rodeos to go, and he’s far too talented to have seen his last Super Bowl.
Rob Gronkowski will take any reason to hit the party scene
His team didn’t survive a Super Bowl run this year. However, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski partied it up anyway post-Super Bowl in the Bay Area, according to a report by Terez Owens.
This lucky lady was fortunate enough to spend some one-on-one time with Gronk behind the scenes. It’s early, but the ever-popular offseason of Gronk looks to have officially begun.

Justin Tuck disses his former quarterback
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was the first Manning brother to earn two Super Bowl rings. However, that’s apparently not enough to stop Justin Tuck from ripping Eli, the quarterback he spent eight years with.
Per TMZ, when asked if Peyton will be remembered as the bigger legend, Tuck replied “as of right now, yes.”
Ouch. Eli has some time to change that answer.
Eli’s face creates news headlines once again
Speaking of the sibling rivlary, Eli put on his most cheerful face when the Broncos won Super Bowl 50 — not.
While everyone else in the Manning family was whooping it up near the end of the game, Eli looked dazed and confused.

No worries, though, Eli. You’re likely the only brother who will still have more chances to earn a third ring.
Dez Bryant pays tribute to Peyton and other Broncos
Familiar with Super Bowls strictly from the comfort of his own couch, Dez Bryant commentated from the sidelines, giving kudos to Peyton and the gang.
Peyton manning I just wanted to say it was an honor to watch you play from the sideline.. True legend well deserved #SB50
— Dez Bryant (@DezBryant) February 8, 2016
Following a crappy 4-12 season, reaching the playoffs and possibly Super Bowl 51 will definitely be a goal of Bryant’s next season.
Super Bowl halftime show and commercials a flop?
After watching Lady Gaga set the bar ultra-high when performing the national anthem, the rest of the Super Bowl’s musical entertainment didn’t quite measure up.
From accusations of lip-syncing to lame commercials, the Twitterverse lit up with complaints about the non-sports aspect of the show.
Plus, the elephant in the room was Coldplay’s Chris Martin trying to fit in with Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

And for those who live for the clever commercials, those drew criticism as well.
In a Super Bowl of dumb commercials, that @TMobile spot with @Drake may have been the dumbest.
