Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders was on hand to witness the Golden State Warriors finish off an epic comeback on Monday night at Oracle Arena. Down 3-1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Warriors battled back to win three games in a row, topping it off with a 96-88 win at home to move on to the NBA Finals.

For Sanders, it was an inspirational message he apparently hopes to emulate.

Sanders is still falling behind Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side. Clinton has 270 more pledged delegates and an astounding 498 more superdelegates than Sanders does, but he’s never once wavered in his belief that he could somehow overcome the odds.

Watching Golden State pull off what seemed like an overwhelming task of beating Oklahoma City three games in a row, he seems more optimistic than ever that he could potentially follow suit.

He’s been pulling in huge crowds at his rallies, and he was well received at Oracle Arena.

At this stage, it seems highly unlikely that Sanders could possibly overcome his huge deficit to beat Clinton, but it’s nice to see he’s not giving up the fight.
