Bengals Missed Field Goal Leads to Tie with Panthers

The Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers played one heck of a game on Sunday. Unfortunately for both teams, the matchup ended in a 37-37 tie.

Cam Newton led the Panthers back with a game-tying field goal drive late in the fourth quarter before the two teams exchanged three points in overtime to make it sudden death.

And then this happened as time expired…

The game ended at 37-37, which marked the first tie in the NFL since the Packers and Vikings in November of last year. It’s also the third consecutive season we have seen a tie around the league.

Notice how Panthers players were elated at the tie, while Bengals players looked disappointed? It might be the same result for each team, but context is key here.
