Unlike last offseason when we all wondered if Ben Roethlisberger would come back to play, there is no doubt he’s going to be quarterbacking for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018. After his team lost by the score of 45-42 Sunday to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Big Ben made his intentions known.
Steelers’ QB Ben Roethlisberger told reporters he plans to return for the 2018 season.

He said, he doesn’t “know about contracts and whose coming back. I know the guys up front are, and that’s good for me, so I look forward to being back with those guys,” per Katherine Terrell of ESPN.
Really, this isn’t surprising. Even though he’s threatened to retire in the past, it’s clear Roethlisberger has plenty left in the tank. Even in defeat, He passed for 469 yards and five touchdowns against the top pass defense in the NFL Sunday.
On the season, Roethlisberger completed 64.2 percent of his passes for 4,251 yards with 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
