New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo has been a quote machine throughout 2017. At halftime of his team’s Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos, he was back at it.
Ben McAdoo told @SNFonNBC's M Tafoya that he turned over play calling to Mike Sullivan because "the entire team needed me this week."
Um….— Kim Jones (@KimJonesSports) October 16, 2017
So, it took him all of last year and five weeks in 2017 to discover this?
Remember, we’re not talking about things that are going well. Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay has more or less left the defense alone in 2017. But the Rams are 4-2, and McVay has Wade Phillips on his team.
The Giants entered Sunday’s game in Denver 0-5 with problems on both sides of the ball. What else would we expect from a guy who, despite all of that, said that New York had a “good football team,” or who wasn’t bothered by opposing defenders calling his offense predictable?
We know that McAdoo has reached a point where we can’t wait to hear what he says next.
