Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines before, during and after Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
He made headlines before the game because of an ill-advised, high-visibility trip to Miami where he partied with Justin Bieber and others through Sunday night and into Monday.
He made headlines during the game because he was practically invisible on the field. And he made headlines after the game because he was banging his head against his locker and then punched a hole in the wall in or near the visitor’s locker room at Lambeau Field.

Eli Manning has attributed the performance on the field and his explosion after the game to Beckham Jr. putting too much pressure on himself to perform at the highest level in a playoff game. It’s not a bad explanation, but it stinks Manning had to give one in the first place.
Addressing this situation on Monday, head coach Ben McAdoo took responsibility for it but made it clear what happened after the game was “not the way we want to act after ballgames,” per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
He also said he talked to Beckham Jr. about it and does not condone his actions.
Needless to say, it’s been a week to forget for Beckham Jr., who has some growing up to do before he can be of utmost value to the Giants when they need him the most.
