Bears once again can’t kick field goals, and fans are fed up

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears’ defense forced two Los Angeles Rams turnovers in the first quarter alone on Sunday night in Southern California.

Neither turnover netted Chicago points. That’s primarily because of what remains an archaic offense and one of the most laughable kicking games in the NFL.

Eddy Pineiro missed two first quarter field goals, adding to the woes we’ve seen from Bears kickers since Robbie Gould left the Windy City following the 2015 season.

It was bad. Really, really bad.

Needless to say, the NFL world had its reactions to another Bears kicker preparing to apply for unemployment on national television.
