A.J. McCarron threw for two touchdowns and the defense intercepted three passes as the host St. Louis Battlehawks defeated the Arlington Renegades 24-11 on Sunday.
McCarron threw for 214 yards, tossing TD passes to Darrius Shepherd and Hakeem Butler. Brian Hill rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Quarterback Kyle Sloter threw for 205 yards but tossed three interceptions for the Renegades. Running back De’Veon Smith scored the lone TD for the Renegades.
