We certainly don’t blame you for not realizing former NBA MVP Derrick Rose was still hooping it up in the Association. A backup for the Minnesota Timberwolves, injuries have derailed the former Chicago Bulls’ first-round pick’s career.
But it sure looks like Rose is in the midst of revitalizing his career. Just ask the Utah Jazz, who saw the veteran drop a career-high 50 points en route to leading Minnesota to a surprising win on Halloween.
It’s only the third time in his career that Rose has reached the 40-point plateau and the first time since March of 2011.
Needles to say, Rose’s turn-back-the-clock performance had sports fans and other NBA stars the world over pretty darn surprised.
