Arkansas DT John Ridgeway declares for NFL draft

Arkansas defensive tackle John Ridgeway announced Thursday that he is declaring for the NFL draft.

Ridgeway had 39 tackles and two sacks this season in his lone campaign at Arkansas. He transferred from Illinois State.

“This football season has been one of the best experiences of my life,” Ridgeway said in his announcement on Twitter. “To be a part of this team has allowed me to grow as a football player and as a man. I will be forever grateful for the memories and relationships I have built through this program. …

“I will forever call Fayetteville my home and will always look back on all the memories I made with my teammates and coaches this year. I will be declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.”

Ridgeway had 102 tackles, one interception and one sack in three seasons at Illinois State.
