Antonio Brown likes IG post of him in 49ers uniform

We’re still not entirely too sure what happened between star receiver Antonio Brown and his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates over the past week.

A report on New Year’s Eve indicated that Brown skipped practice and was benched for Week 17 over a dispute with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Then, on Tuesday, Big Ben said that Brown is not returning calls or texts from teammates.

It’s led to speculation that Brown has asked to be traded. Whether that actually happens remains to be seen.

Though, the boisterous receiver is adding more fuel to the fire on social media. He just recently liked a post on Instagram showing the Pro Bowler in a San Francisco 49ers uniform.

This comes mere hours after Brown responded to 49ers record-breaking tight end George Kittle on Twitter.

It goes without saying that San Francisco will have interest in Brown should he be made available in a trade.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan has said more than once that you do anything possible to add a No. 1 receiver. Brown has been that during his illustrious nine-year career in Pittsburgh.

The 30-year-old receiver caught 104 passes for 1,297 yards and a league-high 15 touchdowns in 2018.
