Antonio Brown to Derek Carr following absence: ‘My bad’

Antonio Brown finally rejoined his Oakland Raiders teammates after missing over a week of action, and the first words he said to Derek Carr were, “my bad,” according to Eddie Borsilli, Executive Producer of SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Brown was away from the team because of two reasons, but if we’re honest he never needed to leave in the first place.

The first reason is that Brown has been dealing with extreme frostbite in his feet following a cyrotherapy mishap, which agent Drew Rosenhaus said required laser treatment.

The other reason that Brown was not in camp with his teammates had to do with a disagreement he had with the NFL over an old helmet he didn’t want to stop using. Following an arbitrator’s ruling that was not in favor of Brown, he said he would return to his team and has since begun pursuing another course of action.

The best news of all here is that Jon Gruden expects Brown to be ready to play in Week 1. Additionally it seems like the receiver is doing his best to mend fences with his teammates after leaving them high and dry.
