As the Los Angeles Lakers welcomed superstar Anthony Davis to the team with an introductory press conference on Saturday, the All-Star forward delivered a clear message about his confidence in the team.
When asked about where this roster stacks up versus teams from across the Western Conference, Davis didn’t hold back in his belief that this roster can beat every team.
While Davis might be confident in the Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers are currently the favorite to win the NBA Finals. The Clippers already added Kawhi Leonard and Paul George this offseason and could bring in more veteran talent on the buyout market later in the year.
It’s good to see Davis is extremely confident in his squad. The battles for supremacy in Los Angeles between the Clippers and Lakers will make the NBA more compelling than it has been in years.
Of course, the Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors should also provide some incredible title completion in a loaded conference.
