Kyler Murray is the most intriguing prospect heading into the 2019 NFL Draft, and the rumors are flying fast and furious following the combine.
Charley Casserly, a former general manager turned television analyst, sparked a ton of conversation after he said scouts and other NFL people told him Murray was awful in interviews and wasn’t a leader.
Then, following that, Dan Patrick shared on his show that a scout believes Murray’s 5-foot-10 1/8 measurement at the combine was somehow “inflated.”
.@dpshow says that a scout told him that he believes Kyler Murray's height was "inflated" at the combine.
"If he refuses to measure at the Pro Day, it would be telling."https://t.co/chCZUAoDIV

Anonymous scouts saying bad things about players sometimes means they actually really love said player. So take all that with a grain of salt.
One thing positive that has come out of the entire deal, though, is that folks on social media have come up with some amazing jokes about it all.

Another anonymous scout told me he's The Shrinking Man. He'll be 5'3" by the time the season is here.
(I had to make a Matheson reference since I watched The Omega Man just the other night.)

Just got a text from a scout: “I saw Kyler Murray get denied at the end of a roller coaster line at Six Flags last summer because he was too short. No way he’s 5-10.”

How long before we get a legit report from an anonymous scout about Kyler's face? "Has short guy face"

Wow, just got off the phone with a home designer. Apparently he/she works for Kyler Murray, and Murray asked them to lower his counter tops because he couldn’t reach the back.
Clearly he isn’t 5’10”, and if he declines a measurement at his proday, he’ll be admitting to it.
