Angel Hernandez has been an umpire in MLB since 1991. The Cuban-American has also been a divisive figure since he started in his role nearly 30 year ago.

One of the most controversial umpires in history is now calling it a career. The reactions were not too kind. Most people were happy Angel Hernandez gave up whatever he gave up.
