Andrew Luck: No pain in throwing shoulder

Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck has finally started to throw a football again, and the Indianapolis Colts quarterback hasn’t yet encountered any setbacks.

According to Zak Keefer of the Indy Star, Luck said “no, no, no, not at all,” when asked if recent throwing sessions led to any pain in his right shoulder.

“I feel a little different. I feel a little more confident. I certainly feel like I put a lot of work in, and it’s paying off.”

The Stanford product missed the entire 2017 campaign, but “Luck Watch” appears to be nearing its end. Although the NFL world was understandably hesitant to believe the initial optimism during the offseason, Luck might actually be OK.

Yes, it’s reasonable to remain skeptical until he’s under center in a live situation. That’s a product of unfulfilled hopes of a return last season.

However, Colts owner Jim Irsay previously said Luck would have no limitations at the start of training camp, and that’s only a month away. Given the consistently positive news, we’re inclined to believe it.
