Andrew Luck ‘feeling really good’ but not yet throwing full-sized football

Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck was present for the first day of voluntary offseason workouts with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, and he was in good spirits discussing his shoulder rehab.

Luck said he’s “feeling really good,” but he also confirmed he still has yet to throw a regular-sized NFL football, which had been reported recently.

Colts fans who might be wondering when they can expect to see Luck throwing a regular football might not be encouraged by his outlook. Luck said, “when the time is right, I’ll pick it up.”

Luck hasn’t played a regular-season game since January 1 of 2017, which was the final game of the 2016 season. He had shoulder surgery early in 2017 and was expected to be ready for training camp, but complications caused him to miss the entire 2017 campaign. He took a trip to Europe for a while and has steadily been making progress since his return to the states.
