Just a little more than one year into his career, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has achieved an unprecedented milestone.
A mere 20 games into his career, Kamara has topped both 1,000 rushing and receiving yards. No player in NFL history has reached both of those milestones so quickly.

While Kamara is a running back, he actually reached 1,000 receiving yards first. That barrier was reached against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3, when he notched 124 receiving yards. One week later, 1,000 rushing yards was achieved. The 134 rushing yards against the New York Giants in Week 4 gave Kamara 1,003 for his career.
Kamara has certainly made quite an early impression. He’s also showing no signs of slowing down in any way. So, we won’t be surprised if these milestones keep coming.
