Allen Hurns carted off after gruesome lower leg injury in wild-card game

Dallas Cowboys receiver Allen Hurns suffered a brutal leg injury in the first quarter of Saturday’s wild-card game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Hurns caught a pass on third down, converting for a first down. However, as he was being dragged down to the turf his leg got caught under the defender and appeared to break badly.

We’re not showing the injury here, as it’s very gruesome in nature.

The receiver was in obvious agony from the moment the injury occurred. He pounded his fist into the turf and medical staff was immediately called onto the field. After an examination, an air cast was placed on his leg and he was carted off the field.

Jason Garrett and Hurns’ teammates were all on the field offering him support as he was being treated and then taken off the field.
