Alleged victim defends Tramaine Brock over domestic violence case

Former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock had domestic violence charges dropped against him on Wednesday. On Thursday, Alan M. Lagod, representing the alleged victim in the case, released a statement on behalf of his client that defended Brock.

Teams have certainly shown a hesitancy in recent years towards pursuing players with domestic violence in their pasts, even if it’s in the form of an accusation. But keeping this in mind, we shouldn’t expect Brock to remain unemployed for long.

Brock already had a potential market for his services, though that market was dependent on the charges getting dropped. Now that the charges have been dropped and the victim has spoken out on his behalf, it will be much easier for teams to give Brock the benefit of the doubt.
