Now that he has earned two titles in three seasons with Alabama, wide receiver Calvin Ridley is ready to take the next step in his career.

Ridley will reportedly forgo his senior season with the Crimson Tide and enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Considered by most to be the top receiver in the class, Ridley’s numbers at Bama were directly impacted by the team’s run-first offense. But make no mistake about it, the 6-foot-1 pass catcher is ready to make an instant impact at the next level. He already boasts plus-level route running skills, is quick off the break and owns a tremendous set to hands.

This past season saw Ridley put up 63 receptions for 967 yards. To put that into perspective, he accounted for nearly one-third of Alabama’s receiving yards. He caught four passes for 32 yards and a score in Alabama’s National Championship Game win over Georgia on Monday night.

The expectation here is that Ridley and SMU’s Courtland Sutton will vie to be the first receiver off the board when the 2018 NFL Draft comes calling in April.
