Alabama football has lost another top-notch player. Offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, who is already being projected as a high NFL Draft prospect when he’s eligible, has announced he will enter the transfer portal, according to a report from On3.

Proctor, who is 6-foot-8, 360 pounds, started every game for Alabama at left tackle as a freshman last season. He was named to the Freshman All-America team and was on the first team all-SEC freshman.

He is already projected to be a first-round NFL pick when is eligible to be drafted.

Proctor, who was the No. 1 offensive tackle prospect in the nation when he signed with Alabama, joins a growing list of Crimson Tide players who have entered the transfer portal.

He had announced that he was signing with Iowa before flipping to Alabama. Could the Hawkeyes be in the mix for him in the portal?

Earlier today, safety Caleb Downs entered the portal. Downs was named All America second team after he finished fourth in the Southeastern Conference with 107 tackles, 74 solo, and two interceptions.
