AJ Green reportedly won’t need surgery, will miss at least two weeks

A.J. Green

The foot injury that has Cincinnati Bengals receiver AJ Green sidelined at the moment will keep him off the field a while longer, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter reports Green won’t need surgery to repair the damage to his toe, as it was feared, but that he’ll miss at least two games before being evaluated again to see when he could play.

This would obviously be a huge blow to the Bengals. They’re coming off a bye in Week 10 and find themselves in second place in the AFC North, one game behind Pittsburgh in the loss column.

Green has been outstanding this year, as usual. He’s caught 45 passes for 687 yards and six touchdowns in eight games. Tyler Boyd will have to become an even bigger part of Cincinnati’s offense while Green remains out of commission.
