Aaron Rodgers practices on Saturday, remains quesionable for Week 2

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to practice on Saturday, but the 34-year-old’s status for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings remains up in the air.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Rodgers remains questionable for Sunday as the team wants to wait and see how his knee responds to treatment on Sunday morning.

Rodgers, who was carted off in Week 1 with a knee injury then returned to the game, spent most of the week working with the rehab group and his status remained uncertain.

If he is unable to play against Minnesota, DeShone Kizer will start in his place. Given Kizer’s struggles in a brief appearance against Chicago, this would be the worst-case scenario for Green Bay.
