Aaron Judge sets new MLB record with 13th HR in 25th game

MLB stars Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees is slugging home runs faster than any rookie in the history of MLB. He knocked his 13th of the season out of the park on Wednesday night, which was accomplished in his 25th game of his rookie campaign.

According to Elias Sports Burea, this is a new record.

His latest towering shot was a bullet to center field that pulled the Yankees to within one run of the lead, down 6-5 in the bottom of the third inning.

Judge is certainly living up to the humongous expectations the Yankees had for their equally huge burgeoning superstar. The giant of a man now leads MLB in home runs, came into Wednesday’s game leading the American League in slugging percentage (.795), OPS (1.219) and OPS+ (227), all while registering a .313 batting average.

Even scarier for AL pitchers, Judge doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
