WATCH: Darron Lee scores first Jets defensive TD in 74 games

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

New York Jets linebacker Darron Lee intercepted a pass from Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford on Monday and took it in for a score. He broke a long drought in the process.

Thanks in large part to a heavy rush from Henry Anderson, Stafford had to rush his pass. As a result, he was intercepted by Lee, who went in and scored.

For Stafford, it was a bad game getting worse. That was his third pick of the game.

For the Jets, it broke a long streak. New York had not scored a defensive touchdown in five years.

It was also the second pick-six of the game. The Lions scored one of their own on the first play from scrimmage.
