Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden will miss Tuesday night’s game at the Minnesota Timberwolves due to soreness in his left foot.
Harden provided 14 points, 20 assists and nine rebounds Monday night in Philadelphia’s 147-143 win over the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.
Harden is second on the team in scoring (21.9 points per game) and rebounding (6.3) behind MVP candidate Joel Embiid and leads the league with 10.8 assists per contest.
After the back-to-back on the road, the 76ers are off until Friday’s home game against Portland, giving Harden some time to rest the sore foot.
Starting forward Tobias Harris, who was questionable with a left calf bruise, will play Monday, according to the team. P.J. Tucker (back spasms) was going through warm-ups and a game-time decision. Both Harris and Tucker missed the game against the Pacers.
