The pride of Scotland, Paul Craig is known for his uncanny ability to submit opponents just when it looks like he’s going to take a big loss.

Gadzhimurad Antigulov found that out first-hand in the initial round of their Fight Island bout Saturday evening.

Antigulov had landed 16 total strikes compared to four for Craig. He also landed 11 significant strikes compared to two. In no way did this matter.

Craig moved to 13-4-1 in his professional career with his 12th submission. It came via the rare triangle choke submission. Check this out. Absolutely ridiculous stuff.

It’s hard to explain just how impressive this is to those who don’t follow the MMA. To put this into perspective, Craig now stands alone with the most triangle choke submissions in UFC history with three. He’s done that in just nine fights.

Craig moves to 5-4-1 in his UFC career.
