He pitched to a 19-6 record with a 3.81 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 34 starts last season. Given that he’s feeling symptoms, it’s hard to imagine the 27-year-old hurler being ready for Opening Day.

According to MLB.com, the slugger ranks third among Red Sox prospects heading into the 2020 season. The former fourth-round pick split time between Double-A and Triple-A last season, hitting .239 with 27 homers and 73 RBI.
