Sports world reacts Alexander Volkanovski defeating Max Holloway in controversial decision

That as one heck of a co-main event between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway for the Featherweight title during UFC 251 Saturday night.

For a while, it looked like Holloway exacted revenge with a split decision victory over Volkanovski. That’s until the decision went in the latter’s direction via the very same split decision.

Holloway figured he had recaptured the belt after the bell sounded in Round 5. He won two of the rounds in resounding fashion.

Most people watching the fight agreed and chimed in after the controversial decision.

I’m sorry but that was not a good decision I had Holloway winning the first 3 rounds. Volkanovski closed the distance and took Round 4 easily, plus win around 5. But I had him losing the fight 3 Rounds to 2. Bad decision in my opinion.

The problem with Volk getting the nod is that he never came close to winning a round in the way Holloway won two of them. That's a hard thing for people to overlook.
