Opening Day for MLB in 2020 is quite a bit different than anything we’ve seen before, as the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly altered the game. One of the things that you cannot help but notice immediately is, of course, the fact that there are no fans in the stands. Television broadcasts, trying to give fans a sense of normalcy, have pumped in fake crowd noise.

It’s pretty weird.
