The San Francisco Giants announced they are suspending workouts pending the results of COVID-19 tests conducted last weekend.

MLB has a COVID-19 testing problem

This news comes on the heels of multiple teams having to take the same action on Monday as MLB’s attempt at starting the 2020 season continues to falter at every turn.

Teams and players are growing increasingly frustrated by the COVID-19 testing failures. There are even reports from players that some teams aren’t properly adhering to the health and safety protocol.

This, as the United States continues to see upwards of 50,000 positive COVID-19 tests per day nationally.

MLB fans calling for season to be canceled

As yet another team announced the necessary action to suspend workouts due to testing delays, fans are concerned. Many have started calling for MLB to simply cancel the season.
