Jacksonville Jaguars star Leonard Fournette is traveling from New Orleans to Jacksonville to lead a peaceful protest Tuesday morning.

The Jaguars running back first announced his plan to lead the protest last week.

Then on Saturday, Fournette announced that he and others will be meeting outside of City Hall in Jacksonville at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

From there, the protesters plan to peacefully walk through downtown Jacksonville, per Jacksonville.com.

Other Jaguars players have protested locally

On Saturday, Jaguars players participated in a protest — marching from their stadium to the steps of the sheriff’s department.

“Today we say no more,” wide receiver Chris Conley said, per The Associated Press. “Today we see a nation that can’t await change, a city that won’t sit still or be quiet.”

Other Jaguars who attended included Joshua Dobbs, Brandon Linder and Josh Lambo. Coach Doug Marrone, general manager Dave Caldwell and assistant coach Terry Robiskie also marched.
