The “Game On!” game show featuring Rob Gronkowski and Venus Williams debuts Wednesday night. And based on the previews released by the show on Twitter, it looks like a ton of awesome fun.
“Game On!” will debut at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday night on CBS. Gronkowski recently described what it’s all about, and what it means to him.
“It’s unpredictable. It’s fun. It’s hilarious,” said Gronkowski, via ESPN. “We never took ourselves too seriously. We love competition, but it wasn’t like an all-out competition, more of a fun, joyful type of atmosphere.”
“I like competing, but at the same time I like to have a laugh. … It was never frustrating when I didn’t do well. We were up there for the joy of the show.”
Speaking of “the joy of the show,” here’s a small sample of what you can expect.
At a time when live sports are still few and far between, “Game On!” looks like exactly the kind of entertainment option we’re craving.
