Odell Beckham Jr. is coming along strong during his rehabilitation process as he recovers from core muscle surgery this offseason. In a video released Monday on his YouTube channel, the Cleveland Browns star gave fans a inside look.

Odell Beckham Jr. played injured

While Beckham waited until late January to have his core muscle surgery, he was initially injured much, much earlier. He revealed in his video that he initially felt an issue in his groin last June and July.

The star receiver continued to push through it, however, and entered training camp dealing with some discomfort.

“I get to August, going through training camp. By the third week of training camp I tear a little piece of my ab. So, before the season, I kind of had the hernia thing going on.”

Even with the injury, Beckham continued to push through it.

OBJ opens up about ‘worst’ surgery

Playing through the injury didn’t necessarily do him any favors. Beckham opened up about what it cost him.

“End up at the end of the season, torn abductor, torn rectus abdominis on the right. Pretty much I was just f***** up the whole year. I didn’t really try to say anything about it. Probably one of the worst surgeries I ever had.”

Now well into his rehabilitation process, Beckham is determined to prove all his doubters wrong.

The star wideout is eager to come back stronger, bigger and faster than ever. His workout regimen is pretty intense, as you’ll see here in the full video.

Even playing through the injury last year, Beckham managed to catch 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.

Assuming he is able to stay healthy in 2020, the sky is the limit for Beckham and the Cleveland offense. Assuming, of course, that Baker Mayfield bounces back from a brutal sophomore campaign.
