The Baltimore Ravens have been mentioned as a team that could potentially add free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown at some point. On Wednesday, when asked about the team’s possible interest in the All-Pro, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta gave a coy response.

Ravens GM never really answered the Antonio Brown question

When DeCosta was asked whether the Ravens have any interest in Brown, he could have said no. He could have said maybe. He could have said yes. Instead, he proceeded to skirt the issue almost entirely by focusing on who the Ravens have on their roster now.

Here’s the full response from DeCosta, shared by Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Sun.

We know that Brown wants to play for the Ravens. He’s made that abundantly clear.

Another thing we know for certain is that Lamar Jackson would love to play with Brown. The two have worked out together recently, and Brown’s cousin, Marquise Brown, is also a key member of Baltimore’s roster.

What we don’t definitively know at this point is whether DeCosta and the organization has any interest. With a chance to answer that question, the general manager played coy instead.

Now we’re left to wonder if there really may be something to the idea that Brown could play in Baltimore sometime soon.
