NFL teams preparing for draft to go on virtually

EA Sports, NFL Draft

The NFL has received some backlash for its decision to hold the NFL Draft as planned April 23-25. The United States is in the midst of a growing COVID-19 pandemic that has claimed north of 7,800 American lives as of early Saturday afternoon.

For most of the sports world, this pandemic has shuttered seasons and pretty much paused operations. The NFL is different. It’s still hellbent on holding the 2020 NFL Draft in some form.

NFL teams are now preparing as if the draft itself will in fact take place virtually later this month.

This isn’t too much of a surprise. The NFL has big things planned for the draft despite the fact that it will no longer be held in Las Vegas.

Teams are planning accordingly with some interesting ways of making sure the draft goes on without a glitch.

It’s certainly going to be an interesting three-day event.
