Falcons roasted after reaching for CB in first round

The Atlanta Falcons tried their hardest to move up from the 16th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft Thursday evening. It did not work out for head coach Dan Quinn and Co.

Instead, Atlanta picked up former Clemson cornerback A.J. Terrell with that selection. He replaces a former Pro Bowler in Desmond Trufant, who the Falcons released earlier this offseason.

Though, Terrell was seen more as either a late first-round or second-round pick. It was a reach at a position of utmost need.

The Falcons were blasted for making that selection.
