WATCH: Top NFL Draft prospect shows insane strength by pushing truck

Mekhi Becton, NFL Draft

As the 2020 NFL Draft nears, draft prospects are under facing more challenges than ever this year to train and make an impression on NFL teams. As the COVID-19 pandemic closes down training facilities with the NFL barring prospects from visiting teams, top prospect Mekhi Becton found a creative way to work out and grab some eyes.

Becton, a 6-foot-7 tackle out of Louisville, is training in Texas with offensive line guru Duke Manyweather. On Friday, Manyweather put Becton’s strength to the test by pushing a Ford F-150. Even more impressive, the driver inside the truck kept pushing the brakes to make it even more challenging for Becton.

While he didn’t come from a top program, the 20-year-old offensive tackle shot up draft boards this offseason as more teams watched his tape. He put on quite the show at the NFL Combine, demonstrating the length and athleticism to become an All-Pro tackle at the next level.

Becton didn’t get a chance to put his strength on display at NFL facilities after the league canceled all visits due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, Becton is receiving great coaching and absurd displays of strength like this will get the attention of NFL teams.

Currently projected to be selected No. 7 overall in the latest mock draft, it would be a shock if Becton slipped past the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 8 overall selection.
