The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly talking to other NFL teams about a potential Todd Gurley trade, according to Michael Silver of NFL Network.

Silver shared Monday that a general manager who is in talks with the Rams about a Gurley trade told him the team is looking for a draft pick “between the second and fourth rounds” in exchange for the running back.

The biggest holdup, it appears, is whether any team will be willing to take on Gurley’s bloated contract.

The Rams are going to have to make a quick decision, because Gurley is due to earn a $7.55 million roster bonus if he’s still with the Rams on March 22.

The team has reportedly been considering releasing Gurley this offseason, if no trade can be had. He’s had chronic knee issues going back to the 2018 season and took a significant step back in production last year, rushing for just 857 yards while averaging 3.8 yards per carry.
