Rams’ Brandin Cooks donates $50K to help children impacted by coronavirus in his hometown

In yet another awesome display of generosity by a professional athlete, Los Angeles Rams star Brandin Cooks is giving back to his hometown of Stockton, CA.

Lindsey Thiry of ESPN shared that Cooks has donated $50,000 to establish the Stockton Children’s Fund, which will serve local children who have been impacted by the effects of COVID-19, the coronavirus pandemic.

Stockton, like the entire state of California, is under a stay-at-home order, which was implemented by Governor Gavin Newsom last week. Many children across the state rely on their public schools for lunches, and the issue of childcare during this tumultuous time is one many parents know is a difficult one to handle.

With that in mind, this donation by Cooks will certainly be a welcome development for families in need.
