Patriots ‘unlikely’ to sign Jameis Winston in free agency?

The New England Patriots will head into the 2020 season without Tom Brady, and many have wondered if Jameis Winston might be a replacement.

According to Michael Giardi of NFL Network, that possibility “seems unlikely at this juncture.”

Given the fact that Winston has been the worst quarterback in the NFL when it comes to turnovers since he was selected No. 1 overall in 2015, this should not be a surprising development. Bill Belichick doesn’t seem like the kind of coach who is interested in trying to fix an interception-prone quarterback, after all.

So, who can the Patriots sign to replace Tom Brady? The options are dwindling, but there are a few decent ones left. It’s going to be fascinating to see how the Pats address this issue, along with retooling a roster that’s been decimated by free agency this offseason.
