A vendor at CenturyLink Field who worked during the Seattle Dragons XFL game has tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Stadium officials announced on Thursday that a part-time vendor who last worked during the Dragons’ game on Feb. 22, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The employee didn’t show any symptoms of the virus at the time they were working at the game, according to authorities. The Seattle & King County’s public health department determined that there was a low risk of infection for anyone at the game.

The stadium operator is working with health agencies along with the NFL, MLS and XFL league offices regarding recommendations and guidelines for public safety and creating a clean environment for guests.

As the Coronavirus becomes a far greater issue across the globe, sports leagues are beginning to take steps to protect players and fans. The National College Players Association asked the NCAA to hold March Madness without fans in attendance as a precaution. The Los Angeles Dodgers also admitted that the team could consider canceling games or holding games without fans
