Report: Buccaneers emerge as suitor for Tom Brady in free agency

Tom Brady contract Patriots

The Tom Brady rumors continue to swirl ahead of the start of free agency around the NFL in less than a month.

We’ve already seen the six-time Super Bowl champ linked to the Las Vegas Raiders, who are reportedly ready to back up a Brinks Truck for Brady.

The Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans have also emerged as potential suitors for Brady with the latter being a real intriguing option.

According to Ben Volin of The Boston Globe, it doesn’t end there. The long time Patriots beat writer noted on Sunday that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have joined the pack of interested teams.

The report notes that Brady is “lynchpin” of the quarterback market. Whether it’s to return to the Patriots or sign elsewhere, Brady’s decision will have a major trickle-down effect around the NFL.

With free agency set to open on March 18, Brady has yet to discuss a contract with the Patriots. This increases the likelihood that he will indeed hit the open market.
